Clinic

For many of the coaches at the clinic level this is their first
experience with the game of soccer. To that end the club offers a half
hour "coaches training" session prior to the scheduled time for the teams'
practice and games. During the training session instruction is given on
skill development in young children. The coaches are taught a few games
in each session to play with their teams that provide the children with an
entertaining way of learning the skills that will be focused on for the week.
In addition, the Coaches are supplied with a "Coach's Kit" with all of the
equipment they will need for the season including a "Coach's Manual."
The coach's manual has each week's practice session outlined for them with the
suggested activities and games provided.
